The ELC joyfully participated in a meaningful activity that brought the story of Jesus’ resurrection to life. Throughout Lent, the students walked alongside Jesus on His journey to the cross through stories and activities. Their hearts and senses were engaged as they felt a crown of thorns and recreated the stone that sealed the tomb in our Resurrection Garden. Today, their learning blossomed into celebration as they “resurrected” Jesus, planting grass and adding beautiful flowers as symbols of new life and hope to their Garden.
The joy of Easter continues to shine brightly in the ELC, reminding us that the resurrection is not just something we celebrate, it is something we are called to
live out and share each day.
