K & 1st tackle rhythmic patterns and played Instrument Family Four Corners. 2nd graders demonstrated their solfège hand signs and 3rd graders rolled the dice and matched note values with matching number.

Our SDJCA Von Trapps helped say goodbye to Oktoberfest 2025...until next year...Auf Weidersehen!





The SDJCA cross country team wrapped up their season at the SPL conference championships in Geneva. Nine of the eighteen runners saved their best for last by setting personal records in their last race of the season; they were: Brody Levy, Luke Leyva, Zane Bash, Liam Heindrich, Luca Crowther, James Troha, Brayden Tillman, Isaiah Heindrich, and Claire Ranney. Brody and Claire became the 3rd and 4th runners from SDJCA to win ribbons at the championship meet. Brody also earned the best finish ever by an SDJCA runner by finishing 4th overall and Claire became the first girl to earn a ribbon at the championships with a 23rd place finish. As a team, the boys finished in 4th place in 10 A division teams and in 20th out of all 30 teams in the conference; the girls finished 8th in the A division and 26th overall. In the 7th grade girls division, Claire herself finished 2nd as a team in the A division and 14th out of all 30 teams.
