Auction Winner: Teacher of the Day Miss Brielle!
What a MAGNIFICENT day it was in the ELC! Miss Brielle enjoyed a full day alongside Ms. La as our special “Teacher of the Day.” She planned a fun-filled day for her students, asking everyone to wear pink, rainbow colors, and/or sparkles to learn in style!
Miss Brielle popped the letter M with marvelous treats that all began with the letter M — marshmallows, M&M’s, and even a McDonald’s snackaroo as we connected our environmental print learning to real-world experiences. Her official STAFF badge was a huge hit with her and the students. Miss Brielle, she truly embraced every part of the teacher’s role! The hugs from her students were momentous.
From a special Starbucks coffee, to helping teach students how to write and identify the letter Mm, Miss Brielle jumped right into classroom life. She assisted with drop-off, pick-up, taking students to extended care, and even twinned with Ms. La as her very own “mini me!”
One of the highlights of the day was traveling to the Main Building to collect her “mail” from the teacher mailbox — just like a real teacher!
M truly was for MAGNIFICENT as Miss Brielle brought joy, leadership, sparkle, and smiles to the ELC all day long! Thank you Miss Brielle and thank you to the ELC students for making the day so fun as well!

👏🏻Thank you, Mrs. Pugh!"👏🏻
NEVER FORGET THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE. Our pastors, admin and SDJCA Advisory Board honored longtime board member, Danielle Pugh, as she led her last board meeting last night. Her youngest graduates next week and the family has been a part of this joint community for 17 years. We are grateful for her service to our school; she has always been and promises to remain a part of team SDJCA. She thanks the board with these parting words, " I love this school and the amazing people that fill it. It’s been a blessing to be part of all this for 17 years. I will still show up, and give you all the biggest hugs. I’m forever grateful for all this community has done for me and my family. Forever friends. Thank you!!!! Keep fighting for this place, I promise you it’s worth it!!!" We are SDJCA

Thank you, Lockport Women of the Moose Lodge and Legion. A donation of $5250.00 was given to SDJCA raised at the Bunco event. We are so grateful!

✝️Kindergarten did a great job leading Mass today...2 more weeks until their graduation!✝️

We had a blast enjoying our final field trip of the school year at Brookfield Zoo! Thank you to all parent volunteers for helping out!

Our second graders truly impressed us this week!
Students worked so hard on their social studies projects, each choosing an inventor or pioneer to research. They typed their facts, created visuals, wrote speeches, and bravely presented in front of our third graders and principal!
We are so incredibly proud of their hard work!

✝️7th graders led Mass this morning on the North Campus. 8th grade Choir members sang with the choir for the last time 🎼

🎼North Campus Music Teacher of the Day... Miss Koscianiuk🎹

🎶Last Choir rehearsal of the school year: We ended with 8th graders performing her graduation song for the group🥹 and then ended with some karaoke...so much fun together! 🎤
