On her feast day, 6th, 7th and 8th graders visited the National Shrine of Saint Therese of Lisieux. St. Therese was a young woman when she entered the convent of Carmelites. She died at the age of 24. She promised to spend her time in heaven doing good on earth. We visited her museum, prayed the Stations of the Cross, learned about other Carmelite saints, and visited the shrine to pray before her relics.

✝️Celebrating St. Therese of Lisieux, Fr. Dan taught us that we are all called to be saints; showing love always. 3rd grade led Mass beautifully on our South Campus today.✝️

🍏The SDJCA "Crystal Apple You Make a Difference Award" 🍏is chosen by the parents of our school. This award is another way for parents to be involved. This honor is an important piece in fostering a stronger, more unified Catholic family here at SDJCA.
