It's for the babies...let the COIN WARS begin!!! 🪙💵

One week from today!

8th Grader Jillian H. is well known to her instructors as a talented writer. Back in October, she submitted a wonderful piece of writing to the Young Writers organization which offers competitions for writers from 7th through 12th grades. Even considering the competition with much older students, Jillian’s piece was chosen for publication and will appear in the upcoming edition. SDJCA will get a copy of the Young Writer’s book for our school library
Way to represent, Jillian! You are so
very talented!
Below is Jill's submission conveying the them " Strange Sagas"

The Lost Charm, the Hidden Path
The school called, a voice tight with panic: “Your sister Elisabeth…accident…
missing.” My entire world tilted. She crashed her car at school, but there was absolutely no sign of her. The scene was chaos, twisted metal and flashing lights, but she was not there. Days blurred into a frantic search, every corner of the town was scoured, every whispered rumor chased. Then, a glint of metal in the woods bordering the school – her charm bracelet, snagged on a low branch. Following a faint trail, I found a hidden path, leading away from the wreckage, toward the unknown. A choice not an accident...where did it lead?
