Our Phoenix athletes were on the move again this weekend with tons of volleyball action, a flag football showdown, and another exciting cross country meet!

⛪️SDJCA FAMILY MASS⛪️
Thank you to our students, teachers and families who attended our first FAMILY MASS today. It was wonderful seeing our school community come together at Sunday Mass. Our servers, lectors and Choir members led a beautiful Mass.
Our next SDJCA Family Mass is October 19th at 9:30am Mass at St. Dennis Church. Join us!

They’ll be performing at our Oktoberfest Closing Ceremonies!
They are Choir members (+ a future member)representing 4th-8th grade.


SOCIAL STUDIES
7th Grade is mapping out their very own Roman city, drawing inspiration from different emperors and aspects of Roman culture.
8th Graders are busy building a Colonial Village with paper models of homes, followed by a short write-up connecting their creations to early colonial America.










Officer Andy kicked off the Too Good for Drugs Program with our 7th Graders.

4th Grade Science
In a lesson on Kinetic Energy, 4th graders worked in groups, building their own track to see whose car would travel the farthest.





Parents: Homework Club will NOT meet today after school.
Surrounding Catholic High Schools came to speak to our 8th graders this morning. Thank you to the Admissions staff and student ambassadors of Providence, Joliet Catholic, and Benet Academy
who presented at our North Campus today.






8th Grade student gave Miss Ray the afternoon off and got up to teach their classmates how to solve for areas
using exponent rules. We may have some future teachers in this group!





7th Grade got to unwind and practice their integer operations with the game "Integer Operation War." Practice makes perfect!




Congratulations to our 2nd grade teacher, the beautiful bride...and the new Mr. & Mrs. Cervantes! Fr. Dan married the happy couple at St. Dennis this past weekend. 💒

ELC students enjoy their Physical Education time Mr. Hagan.






The 6th Graders used PlayDoh and a popsicle stick to write their names in cuneiform, the Ancient Mesopotamian writing system. This was the first writing system in the world, and they had a blast bringing history to life!










Kindergarten earned a stuffed animal day. They had a blast! Keep up the great work!






✝️6th Graders did a lovely job leading our Liturgy of the Word this morning and it was awesome to have our 2025-26 Choir sing for the first time this year!🎼
