Thomas Newton – Principal

Mr. Newton is an experienced educator who has taught, coached, and served in several administrative roles. These roles include serving as Dean of Students, Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, and Principal. He has been a principal at both the high school and middle school levels.
Mr. Newton earned his B.A. in education from Elmhurst University (then Elmhurst College) and has an M.A. in Educational Administration from Lewis University.

Megan Goetz – Assistant Principal

Megan Goetz is a 2009 graduate of Millikin University where she studied Music Education. Megan taught vocal music education for the past 14 years in the Plainfield School District. During this time, she pursued a Master’s Degree in Music Education and continued to instill a love for music in her students. Most recently, Megan felt led to pursue her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Principals Endorsement at Lewis University. While she has enjoyed teaching music and connecting with students, she felt the need to widen her reach to positively impact the lives of more students.
